High Accuracy Imaging Analysis for Deterioration Level of Molten Zinc Plating/Coating on Steel Structure

Dr YAMADA Motohiko, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University and Dr FUJIMOTO Katsushige, Faculty of Symbiotic Systems Science, Fukushima University jointly invented diagnostic method to evaluate deterioration level of molten zinc plating/coating under collaborative research with Denro Corporation (Denro) in Japan, and such technology was jointly filed by universities and Denro.

This technology provides quantitative, highly accurate diagnosis for molten zinc plating/coating degradation and is applicable to not only plated/coated surface of steel structure but steel pipe inside of which the damages are likely to be missed. Denro now commercially provides this technology as entrusted deterioration survey for molten-zinc plated/coated steel structure like transmission line tower.

For more detail, please access to Denro's website and contact Denro directly.
